I have been a social media marketer going on 3 years. I have been an Internet marketer for over 14. I was a spammer back when that meant entrepreneur. I have always worked hard for what I have and never went to college. I did however tour some colleges just out of high school playing music, so I guess I lived the life without the large loans. I never liked working for other people. I always knew that someone else was making a fortune from my hard labor; I built houses and then sold cars. I do what I love and love what I do! Oh and I love my wife, kids and dogs. Kitty...you're OK I guess...

Scott, the first year increase is only $100. The subsequent year's renewals are 300% so I am not exagerating.
My other concern is that, as stated by the chap in the video, it's almost like working monthly from pay cheque to pay cheque - leaves me worried that you could go under if the new customers don't come.
Having said that, I am contemplating getting the Dev Package today as I noticed the cheeky little 25 percent of code in my email.
Can I ask is tax applied thereafter (what rate) or does that price that I am currently seeing on my screen mean the price I will pay. Thanks :)
Just when I was contemplating getting the Pro Plus package with a view to upgrading to Developer in a few months when I have more than 10 pages to manage, the prices go up. It did stick in my throat that as a Pro Plus user there was no HTML module (not so Pro Plus?) but another reason to need to upgrade as soon as it was financially viable for me.
Obviously I can buy the Pro Plus package now at the old price but when I want to upgrade to Developer I face a 300% percent increase in the cost of what the Dev package is now? Lol.
I have watched your video, the only thing that was missing was the violins. How may times can you say "help us out" in one video?
200-300 percent cost hikes in real terms due to the move to monthly/annual pricing...totally daft and you will be driving lots of people away.
Best wishes...
I have a Developer Package:
So I believe the Fan Page Ad Engine is grandfathered in at no future cost, right?
Now am I correct in thinking, that in order to get the Social Media Engine, I need to either pay $97 by Friday or pay monthly after that?
Well we signed up for the Dev's package with Premium Support :)
Custom icons aren't a part of our platform, but we can create them for you. We are adding that service now where we will create them for you whether you have the image or not. I believe it's $97 if you have the image and $197 if we have to create the image. ~Scott
Scott, one final questions which doesn't appear to be answered on the site or in the spec for Dev package - can I create custom icons for tabs? Cheers
The price listed is the full price yes. ~Scott

And in reality the developer package for the 1st year is about a $100 increase over our current rate, so still not as big of an increase as you are stating. We will of course work with current customers on upgrades and make sure you are taken care of. ~Scott
Norm sorry you feel that way. It won't affect the majority of our current customers and our prices are still way lower than our nearest competitor and we provide more quality and value. The other main competitor selling a developer package will run you about $200 per month, where ours will be a fraction of that. Plus we have many people that want to create pages for clients but couldn't pay an upfront fee of $300, so now they can get right in and start making pages and charging their clients for about a $1.50 per day! That's super cheap.. ~Scott

With the Social Media Engine if you are a current customer or purchase now it is $97 and gives you access to all previously recorded videos. But will not give you access to any new videos or future live webinars. ~Scott

Randy- Whatever you have now you'll still have. You are listed as a Developer so you're good to go. The changes will basically only effect new customers that buy with us. All of you original supporters get grandfathered in! ~Scott
Thanks Scott.
thanks for the great news Scott... I was just about to ask the same thing. But as one of the original 'Unlimited' pkg owners, am I going to have to start paying an annual fee? or is that also only for the new clients?
Nope.. Whatever you have now you will continue to have. ~Scott
Will this affect the people who were grandfathered in at the developer level?

Dude.. Can you please put some files in the black wire mesh file holder! Always seems empty!! haha
It's empty because I do not use paper much anymore, and Steph got them for me because we used to keep some documents in my office. Maybe I should replace them with a nice plant of some kind? LOL
Or randomly place stuff in it in every video to see if people notice.. Kinda like on Seinfeld every episode a Superman figurine was somewhere in the show.
am I going to lose my HTML module in my current Pro Plus package with the changes?
The HTML module has always only been for Developers, you should not have it in the Pro Plus.
