Dad Shoots-Up Daughter’s Laptop Over Disrespectful Facebook Post [Video]
(hubze) Facebook hasn’t made parenting any easier. It can be hard to keep up with Generation Y, seeing as they tend to operate under a totally different language.
Another obstacle that comes with social networking, is that you can block whoever you want– like parents, grandparents, stalkers, and ex’s.
Being blocked, however, wasn’t an obstacle for father, Tommy Jordan, the latest sensation in Facebook parenting.
Here is the story: In Albermale, North Carolina, 15 year old girl blocks her parents from her Facebook page and posts a disparaging open-letter, effectively ripping her parents a new one for treating her like a “slave.”
Apparently she is forced to clean the floors and wipe the counters and make beds and take out the trash, and she doesn’t have time for a real life like Cinderella.
Her Father, Ex-IT guy and Cowboy, found the post, “To My Parents” on Facebook while he was updating her computer with new software.
How does he respond? Sit-back and relax for a lesson in “Facebook Parenting: For the troubled teen.“
Jordan’s solution to parenting his troubled teen is a whopping heap of tough love, “As of the end of this video, she won’t have to worry anymore about posting inappropriate things on Facebook..”
In this video response, father Tommy Jordan, reads through the Facebook post and retorts with his 45:
“This is your laptop…this right here, is my 45.”
Bam. Jordan proceeds to fire exploding hollow point rounds into his daughter’s laptop; bullets that Jordan’s daughter will have to pay for– $1 each.
The video, showcasing what Jordan called “the most disappointing day of my life as a father,” was cleverly posted to his daughter’s Facebook wall. His unorthodox disciplinary tactics have gone viral with 11,256 Like son Facebook and 5,058 Shares.
And how is his daughter taking to her punishment (a modern spin on public humiliation)? According to Jordan, who is managing his new found Internet fame on his personal Facebook page, she “came through it fine.”
On top of the laptop total makeover, she is grounded, and “once the initial anger passed, she sat with me reviewing some of the comments that have come in via Facebook and YouTube. One person even suggested collecting the shell casings and auctioning them on eBay.” Jordan will tickle the eBay idea with his daughter’s college fund in mind.
In response to her father’s viral punishment, she even suggested Jordan shoot her phone as well, since she is grounded and all, “we can use more bullets and I’ll go half-sies with ya on it!”

I would think that he would have tried other methods before going to this drastic measure. He even said it at the beginning of his video.

To FanPageEngine Friends I want to apologize I got very upset today when I read about a guy using a gun to show his daughter a lesson and really didn't watch the video. Someone else posted the video and the caption read much differently so thought I would view it. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was not in front of the child I was afraid it was but it was on video. I don't agree with the total method but the dad seems to be very loving and a red neck so what can ya say? I am sorry for freaking out thought a child was being hurt and didn't want to see. I have seen some awful stuff on FB this was not as bad as some. Peace.

Lolol sorry Scott but it seems as though people are going to have to suffer a great loss in their own life to appreciate how lucky they are to have a child. If this father got the phone call that his daughter has cancer and be gone within six months I bet he would change his ways quick. He would try and be more patient and understanding and realize what really matters in life. My mom died when she was 21 years old she loved being a mom and I know she would of loved to be here just for one more day to be with me. This is what life is all about Appreciate Life and all you have because it could be gone by midnight. The words from a mother.

WOW! Been a parent for 27 years and have a now an amazing adult. I will warn most of you who think in amyway shape or form this is away to raise a child you are 100%. WRONG. Period. That is why I can judge this without seeing it I read the caption knuckleahead. I am what is RIGHT for Americans I am smart and don't need to watch a stupid video to wonder and guess what right and what wrong. Most of you have no idea how to raise a child so please wrap it or cross it because we honestly don't need anynore bad parents enough is enough.
He did warn her the first time he would put a bullet in it. "Spare the Rod and Spoil the Child" as they say. His problem started years ago when not being firm enough. The first video i saw of it had 35,000 comments attached!
The father is just as stupid as the kid! Blew away a nice laptop after he had just spent $130 upgrading it, when all he had to do was hide it from her or even sell it. Just plain stupid. Oh, and as regards the daughter cursing, she must have learned it from her father, because he did it too!

Ok, I get that, but unfortunately not every kid accepts boundaries and push way beyond them. Some kids take their parents fir granted nd are so disrespectful. And trust me what he did will not make her a beter person but it will open her eyes to how easy she had it. He could have done worse but its obvious he isn't that type of parent. He decided to use the shock nd awe method, as I call it. It a eye opener for the kid. Trust I'm sure that dad isn't rich he is struggling like the rest of us..so to think buying the stuff nd upgrading her laptop just to turn around nd shoot it was something he wanted to do would be silly.trust me it must have not been something he wanted to do, but felt it was, hopefully, an eye opener for his kid. Tina, judging someone without knowing the full story is the reason so many Americans are at each other's throats these days. Just sayin.
It may have been over the top, but, I think maybe it was necessary. I just hope he isn't driven to put a bullet in his daughter...but, I definitely agree to taking away all of "toys"...not sure I would destroy them, after all, they did buy them for her...take them away and hide them because they will probably give in and hand them back to her, but, let see how long they go without giving her a new lap top.
I don't have to watch to tell you the father is a mental case who does not know how to parent. this world sucks because of bad parenting that's for sure. He just created a mirror image of him so here we will go again.
It definitely drives his point, however, something tells me that missy is only at the beginning of her rebellious journey. Dad may have a hard time stepping up his game from here... This is one of the ones that we need to mark our calendars and check back in 3 or 4 years for a 'where are they now' update... (I think I just had an idea for a reality show)

This whole situation is pretty ridiculous. It seems like both the father and the daughter need a little lesson in what real life is and how to deal with it accordingly. I mean, that daughter sounds like such a spoiled girl, thinking that helping clean the house and do chores makes her "like a slave". Maybe she should do better research on what a slave really is. And for the father to just shoot up her computer instead of just going to her and having a conversation is ridiculous, and a total waste of money and resources! I mean, now he's wasted bullets and she will eventually have to buy a new computer. I wish people cared less about these events so people wouldn't keep posting them as something apparently worthy of seeing.
